How to Tell If Storm Damage Warrants a Claim
We strive to always provide expert advice on every project. We’ll never encourage you to file an insurance claim unless the damage on your property warrants it. We’ll gather a comprehensive report of any damage you’ve sustained and compare the scope with your insurance deductible. If repairing damage would cost more than your deductible, it often makes sense to move forward with a claim.
Types of Roof Storm Damage to Watch For
Roof storm damage can be sneaky. While hail and wind damage is the most common type of exterior damage, it can be difficult to spot issues from the ground. Call Frontline Adjusters right way after a hail or wind storm to gain a clear picture of your damage. In the meantime, watch out for interior leaks, missing shingles, and visible dents.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the signs of exterior storm damage?
Some common signs of storm damage on your roof include lifting shingles, cracked shingles, shingle granule loss, or dented gutters. On your siding, you may notice cracks, dents, or warping. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for interior water leaks which could be caused by storm damage on your roof or siding.
Will I get a higher settlement if I hire a public adjuster?
Almost always! You will receive a higher settlement from the insurance company than if you do not use a public adjuster for the simple reason that your claim will be presented much more favorably and with careful attention to your policy coverage. Typically, the more detailed and complete your claim, the higher the settlement. We go through all the evidence, step by step, very carefully inspecting the loss site and accurately documenting the damage. Studies have clearly demonstrated that most inventories compiled by insurance without the help of the public adjuster are very incomplete.
My claim was denied. Am I entitled to a second opinion from Frontline Adjusters?
Yes! Many of our clients were told their claim was denied. We simply reopen the loss, negotiate with your insurance company, and insist they pay for viable damages.
Is there a minimum value required for a claim to be made?
We only get involved in claims where our services are needed. Therefore, there is no claim too big or too small. Just give us a call to discuss your claim, and we will give you our professional opinion.
